Hi

It´s been a long time since i´ve recorded anything. My band just began rehearsing Scuttle Buttin, and I decided to make a cover of it to practice, but it´s extreamly hard song to play.

Drums: EZ drummer.
Bass: Spectrasonics Trilian.
Guitar: Me playing a Stratocaster tuned halfstep down.

Tell me what you think, I know it´s not perfect, but it´s getting close, I´ve just been practicing it for few nights, but I think this is the hardest song I´ve tried to play.

I love this tune and you did quite well. Not perfect but on a good way. Yoy definitely have a feel for this. Now just polish all those bits and it will sound great. Your tone is very cool.

Well, it IS a hard one... biggrin.gif But I think You've almost there! smile.gif The only thing I was reacting to was the guitar sound, it doesn't sound like SRV, but thats a matter of taste. Otherwise, some phrases is a little bit out of time, but You will for sure nail it with some practice!!! Well played!!!

Great effort mate, not the easiest of tunes for sure but I think you did a good job nonetheless, Im with Staffy on the tone thing but me and him are die hard SRV fans so we may be a little biased!

Loved it though mate, always look forward to your stuff!

It's not the easiest of SRV's tunes, so I think you did a pretty good job. There are some mistakes, specially with timing, but it's all good. Keep rocking! smile.gif
