how do you do it??? i just watched your extreme neoclassical lesson and it had the chords each lick was based of. can you teach me please??

Well if you add a note or two
that could be arpeggio as well, min 7 or even min 7/9. Point is,you have to know chord's notes and notes inside of a scale to determine if that's arpeggio that you're playing. Do you have some example of what you're thinking about that I could eventually might help with? Just post a tab here and we'll go through it step by step. -------------------- Youtube

I see what you mean.
There are notes A-C-E which creates Am chord but they are not played in row to get an arpeggio, you must play them one after the other to do that. Later in this lesson you'll have lot of arpeggios but not here, this is just a lick containing pedal tone E, that repetitive tone on D string,14th fret. -------------------- Youtube
