Here are some thoughts about lesson backing tracks -

I am about to suggest to our instructors that our lessons should contain

* Backing track at full speed

* Backing track at full speed with loop, 3-5 minutes for jamming

* Backing tracks at different speeds

* At least one extremely slow backing (Am I right in thinking that in some cases even the slowest backings are too fast for many people?)
