Hi.
Fret spacing is quite related to pickpup placement and total number of frets. The pickup placement I guess it is pretty much related to the vendor. About the number of frets and considering only common guitars, I guess that 24 fret will have a longest length than 22 fret so that the latest frets are still playable. The 12th fret is to be half the way from the headstock to the bridge, and the 24th fret has to be halfway from 12th to bridge. So if one wants to have playable frets on the end of the guitar, it has to be larger for 24 fret. However the size of the frets in a 24 fret guitar make a little hard to play on the first few frets... Chords with relatively big opening (such as E/G#) are a harder... -------------------- my "Thank you GMC!" video
