Hey mate!

Thank you for posting this second take I think that there are a few aspects that you need to focus:

- unwanted noises - all through out the take there are string noises that you need to mute
- timing - it's almost there, but you need to be tight with the drum track and also have a good groove
- there are notes which are uneven in terms of timing and dynamics - some notes are louder than others
- entire phrases are a bit too fast for you at this point and you need to isolate each part of the lesson and make sure you are mastering it completely
- the vibrato could be steadier, in pitch and rounder

My suggestion here is to take each part of the lesson and make sure you can play it as close to perfection as possible with a metronome and then put them all together and play the entire piece over the slowest backing available.

Once you can play in good timing, articulation, groove and dynamics, please raise the tempo using the faster available backing tracks. You can send me the slowest one once you record it and we'll take it from there, if you wish, I'd be glad to help out!

Hi mate, thanks for a new take for this one!

You already know the different parts of this one correctly but now it's time to polish your playing. The main problem is that your playing is very noisy, there are many unwanted noises here and there that make your take sound very unclear. You have to use the palm of your right hand to mute the lower strings and the fingers of your left hand (as a bare) to muse the higher strings that don't have to sound. It's very important to mute a string played as soon as the following note is played in order to keep everything sound clean and clear. This requires a lot of attention and synchronization at first, but then, with practice it becomes automatic, so you don't have to think too much on it.

Cosmin also marked some other things that are important to be fixed on this one, so please keep on practising the lesson an let me know if you need some help to manage the muting techniques.

Hi there. This is sounding better already but of course there's always room for improvement

Ok, I see that your picking hand is quite rigid and that we can hear that your hand is not muting the strings with the edge of your hand. Using the outer edge of the picking hand to rest on or slightly over the strings is the most common and efficient way of muting unwanted notes. With the higher strings (G, B & E) we tend to use the edge of our hand to mute. With the lower strings, the fat part of the thumb can take care of the lower strings or again (depending on the angle of your hand) you could use the edge of your hand.

You seem to be able to mute the low strings so it's just a case of adjusting your hand position slightly to cover and mute the unwanted strings. It doesn't mean you need to rest heavily on them and have a muted staccato sound when playing the high strings but at least have the G covered when you're moving up onto the B or E strings.

You'll have to experiment with it until you can feel it, it's not easy to understand with the written word only.. but you will get there !

Guys did very good feedback on this one. (thanx ! Main problem is the noise - You have a lot of work to get some useful habbits of placing both of Your hand the way they mute all string not being in use at the moment. My tip is the famous "flat 1st finger:" in the left hand. try to position it more like "baree chord shape"...and just softly touch all the strings above the one You play.
