John Petrucci Style Melodic Solo, Lesson By Gabriel Leopardi |
|
Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Original lesson: John Petrucci Style Melodic Solo by Gabriel Leopardi
Found another old one from you, Gabriel, and tried learning it. Guitar needs intonation work done, I think...or maybe I'm doing something seriously wrong at the moment. |

Hi Cael!
This lesson brings me great memories! It a solo that I've composed for the intro of a song from my first professional band. This first entry shows, besides the intonation issues, timing issues. The overall lesson sounds "after the beat". So I recommend you to re-check the whole thing to capture the right rhythm and feel before fixing other details. Sometimes it's after the beat, other times, you are not playing the right rhythm So please re-check it! -------------------- My lessons
