I liked this system for the chords.
You can figure out the fingering for every chord by yourself in the different positions

But is there a good site for this to use as reference for example, finding all the positions in the CAGED for the m7b5 chord
and so on

Hey mate - I don't know a site, but you can read the CAGED notes here at GMC and see if the info here is what you seek:

This is a good website
Covers the most basic chords.
I have used it, learned all 5 caged shapes and then also back then figured out how the chord shape became what it was.

I would need this but for more advanced chords. But I dont know, maybe u dont use the CAGED for the more complex chords.
But It would be good to fit 9,13 chords etc, jazz chords into my pratice

cheers

Well, why not start from here and try building them yourself? It will be more than a great exercise! In my opinion, if you know the chord construction formulas, you can work out your own shapes and now especially that you have this system, you can follow a pattern and see what notes you can add or substract - maybe sometimes you will need to get rid of a 5th maybe, in order to replace it with a 9th.

http://www.semitono.com/en/chords/A7/ - start here for instance smile.gif make A9 instead of A7 you have the 1 3 5 b7 9 formula, right? Check out the shapes presented here and see how you can fit the 9th.

As Cosmin said try building them yourself. The important thing when using things like the CAGED system is not just memorising the shape but knowing the intervals in the shape, that makes it much more useful when moving away from basic triads into more complex chords

For me, I find that the disposition of intervals on the neck is much more of a perspective, in order to know what I need to assemble, in respect to various contexts. I recon that time spent doing this was definitely worthy and knowing your neck is another important aspect. Knowing your neck due to paying attention to what you play, instead of trying to learn it by heart is another good option!
