I don't know what RG, Custom, Prestige, Premium, J or any of that means. All I know is I love the Wizard neck on my Ibanez which I purchased new for $700 around 1997 - 2000 I can't remember. RG , Premium, Prestige, J Custom is the order I do believe from worst to best as far as money wise. I bet you could pull down the cheapest S in the store and put it up against even the S770 and it would feel about the same. If it has that neck name then the specs are what you want. It could be from cheap to expensive they will all feel right to your hands. I go from a RG470 ($300) to a RG920 Premium (Around 600-800 used) they all feel about the same to me. The more you pay the different wood you will see, the finish thats used, and possibly even better pickups. Which I'm not fond of any new Ibanez pickups really.
