That said, when I hear a song and don't hear a solo, I can't help thinking something was missing. But that's just me. Some folks probably hear the same tune and think it was perfect. I was just like that until a some years ago, until I started liking to more instruments than just the guitar (I was more than obsessed ) somehow I am more inclined to what you can create in terms of a structure and orchestration rather than playing a solo sometimes.
