Like when I was learning the pentatonic scale it was fun because I could do cool blues licks and stuff along with learning it but with the major scale its just boring. do you have any advice? Really lets yo hear the differences between say A lydian and A mixolydian. Force yourself to learn the boxes even though it is boring. Knowledge is power!!
