Hi all, I'm glad to be here. Not only do the lessons look very good but the forums are friendly and lots of people reply to your posts! I started playing guitar way back in the 60's - alright it was near the end of the 60's but still that era! I played in a few bands when I was in my teens and I got quite good. Then I went to University, got a job, got a wife etc. I didn't really play for the last 20 years. Now I've bumped into an old friend from my teens and we have a small guitar band. I'm loving it. I'm not really into shredding but more into blues and melody. I wish sites like this had been around in my day. Good to meet you all. Mike Hi Mike, Glad to meet you! Don't worry we're not all shredders on this site, although I am finding that learning shred techniques is improving my overall playing so its well worth looking at that stuff even if you don't want to play like that - I'm pretty much where you are at - melodic blues, kind of Gilmour/Gary Moor stuff is my sweet spot - so enjoy the site! -------------------- Check out my Instructor profile
