sup all, my names brandon im 22 and from maine. ive been playing off and on for a few years now, im completely self taught which i find now is somewhat of a crutch, because alot of things i have to relearn. i used to work in the woods which took about 14-16 hours of my day, so i never had much time to play, if at all. i recently picked up my guitar and started playing. i would say my biggest influences would be kirk hammet, jimi hendrix, stevie ray vaughn, steve vai, yngwie, etc however i like it all.. from johnny cash to children of bodem. im very happy to find a site with so much information on it, its really helping alot, sure i only signed up yesterday haha but the techniques, support, and instructions is invaluable. i really think you have a very nice site for guitar players of all calibers. anyways i was just stopping by to say hello to everyone.

im currently using a fender princeton chorus =( and a gibson epiphone zack wylde edition i also replaced the pickups with 2x active emg 81's =) i also have a few other guitars that were passed down to me.
1965 harmony electric
some random jackson guitar, its nice for soloing
and a esp custom grynch baritone

Greetings fellow New Englander - I'm down the road from you in Southern Connecticut! Like you, I am mostly self taught and un-learning bad habits. The good news is that the instructors and everyone on this board are incredibly supportive - if you have any questions at all you just need to ask and someone will help you out - welcome!
