What do you play?

And I mean, really play.

I'd define "play" as taking up 33% or more of your total playing time.

Acoustic?

Electric?

Or Both?

Haha i have the same problem with my acoustic... But i play probably both equally. It's just something about the acoustic sound that makes me feel good.

Electric. It would be both if I had a nice full sized acoustic, but probably about a 2 to 1 ratio in favor of the electric still.

Electric. Acoustic takes up about 15-20% of my time, so I think that I really play acoustic aswell, but apparently that's not enough for you laugh.gif

There was a time when I practiced all (sweeping, string skipping, even tapping) on the acoustic (the one that you've seen in the Erik Mongrain lesson).
Now I play both, love acoustic and electric biggrin.gif

It's both for me basically. I mess around with my nylon string every day and devote at least a 1 h session for finger picking and learning GMC flamenco lessons! smile.gif

I like both worlds, but if I had to choose, I would choose the electric mistress not the acoustic mistress cool.gif

I have an acoustic but I reallllly REALLY neglect her. I rarely play it other than in the summer at the beach or something.
I feel so guilty when I pick it up too because the strings are all dingy and old sad.gif
Then I try to play her and it sounds like crap, so I just put her down and don't touch her again for a few months even though I have a brand new pack of strings sitting there waiting hahahah

I enjoy playing acoustic guitar more than electric guitar to be honest and that is when I play guitar at all. Haven't played in ages and need to learn Carry On Wayward Son by Kansas laugh.gif
