Ok, So for the past 6 weeks ive been working on a new song, thats quite long (16:37), So if you dont listen to the whole thing, I understand laugh.gif

It has some brief intervals of pauses between sections of riffs, Because the whole song is supposed to have a narrator that pops in every so often and has some, well...Narratives. It also might seem like a stream of riff 1, riff 2, riff 3, But it does have structure and a purpose to why each riff is played and why that riff is there.

So, If anyone dare to....

Killer riffs at 2:35 and 9:40, quite soothing ambients through the whole thing, you certainly can play metal Brett!, drums sound pretty cool to me too, good job.

BUT, too long!!

Cool smile.gif I havent heard through it all yet, but i like the theremin-sounding synths in the first minutes.
The drumsound is also alot better than on previous songs, but they do sound a bit static and undynamic. Guitarsound is clear and good and playing is tight so far smile.gif

If you think this is long, Before I re did the lyrics it was 21:45 long. Im thinking about making it two songs, But I dont know where I would spilt them.

Maybe In the future Ill make it two songs, And by future i mean in the next few days or something, I dont know yet.

PS

As for the drums, I have a VERY Basic drum program, Love to get EZ Drummer but money is tight at the moment.

Very cool ideas in there, great variety of instruments and arrangements. However, as people have already said, it's too long. And not that I'm not used to epic pieces from DT, Opeth, Tool, Vangelis, Isao Tomita, Liquid Tension etc.

IMO it has a huge amount of ideas that could be developed in a certain way and could be applied into shorter songs. So i'm thinking about cohesion. This song lacks a bit of cohesion.

Otherwise I listened to it till the end, and you made me a VERY entertaining quarter of an hour with it! biggrin.gif biggrin.gif Keep up the quality work cool.gif

Sounds pretty good biggrin.gif

The length of it doesn't really matter for me (Then again I'm used to long songs smile.gif )
