Hola amigo! Cómo estas?
Gracias por el update. Creo que las lecciones que elegiste son ideales para vos. Tambien me parece importante que elijas algunas más sencillas para mantener la motivación. Incluso considero que es positivo tocar cosas que nos parecen sencillas e intentar mejorarlas aún más en cuando a la dinámica, el groove y el sonido. Siempre que toques algo sencillo, presta atención a como suena y trata de ver si hay alguna forma de mejorarla. Con repecto al movimiento de pulgar, yo tampoco lo considero necesario. Puede ser que ayude a relajar un poco la mano pero en mi caso personal no veo como podría ayudarme a tocar más rápido. Lo que si creo es que puede ser una herramienta más para conseguir otros sonidos y dinámicas. Yo me críe estudiando a Paul Gilbert, Yngwie Malmsteen, Vinnie Moore y John Petrucci en cuando al alternate picking y nunca vi que lo hagan. De hecho uno de mis libros de cabecera fue Speed Mechanics de Troy Stetina y ahí el recomienda no hacerlo. Sin embargo, como siempre hay excepciones, hay grandes guitarristas que lo hacen con resultados positivos. Uno que conozco y me sorprendió mucho es Kiko Loureiro. Él realiza movimiento de pulgar y su técnica es impresionante. Por esta razón, lo importante es saber que no hay una única forma de hacer las cosas.
