Korn Style Collab, The first GMC Nü Metal Hit Options

Hello friends!

Today I would like to invite you to be part of our new metal hit, this time inspired by the band Korn. Our founder Kristofer Dahl is already writing lyrics for this one so we will surely have a new killer song and WANT YOU TO BE PART OF IT!

The idea is that you record guitar solos, guitar noises or whatever you want to help us to make this one the better song possible. You can record over the whole song.

Key and Scale choices:

Let's divide the track in 3 sections: Verse (00:03 to 00:22), Pre-chorus riff (00:22 to 00:40) and Chorus (00:41 to 00:58).

Verse: The chords are Dm - Eb. You can use: D minor pentatonic scale or D Phrygian mode.






Pre-Chorus: The riff sounds like "arabic" because it was created with a mode called "Phrygian Major". You can still use D minor Penatonic but avoid playing the third:

Chorus: The chords are A5 - G5 Bb5.

IMPORTANT INFO About files required:

In order to make the things easier for compiling takes and mixing I need that each participant shares 3 files:

- Audio file with the mix of the backing and your guitar.
- Audio file only with your guitar (If possible this audio should have the same length than the mix version)
- Video of you playing the solo, and if it's not possible a picture. (Mp4 format if it's possible)

The best way to share this is compressing in a zip file to be downloaded from here or using sharing service as dropbox, wetransfer, and copying the link here.
