They do last long indeed cause of coating.
Before them I had to change strings every 7-15 days,
depends of how much I was playing and I play a lot normally.
Now I change Elixir every month or even more.
They hardly go black,maybe bottom strings after a while.
Do you really have to change strings that often,
I've played the guitar for two years now,
and I've changed strings only one time
