By playing that note I'm adding the 9th to the chord which is a very nice extension that makes chords sound "sweeter", less strong.
Try playing A5 on 6th string (fret 5 on 6th, fret 7 on 5th), and add B note (fret 9 on 4th string). You'll like it! -------------------- My lessons
