Chuck Liddell is what got me interrested in MMA in the first place a looong time ago, so I was a bit sad to see him get knocked out against Evans.. I can't stand Evans actually, so it was extra sad that it was against him dry.gif
I think Liddell has a few great fights left in him, but he obviously needs to mix up his gameplan a little as people have him figured out by now. He should start to implement his kicks again, where have they been the last few years? blink.gif
And him being a better wrestler than Tito (Yeah, that's actually true), why don't he use it? I think he relies too much on his right hand, but it has been known to work so why not wink.gif

Meh, just hopes he comes back strong smile.gif

Rokchik: You did Kempo and don't like Chuck? smile.gif
Yeah it will be cool, I'll let you know with a few updates every now and then smile.gif

Couture vs. lesnar will be awesome biggrin.gif

I don't know what it is about Liddell but I never liked him... even before he beat up Couture twice wink.gif even considering his Kempo wink.gif I just don't like him. Now don't get me wrong he is an amazing MMA fighter, but like you said he's pretty much figured out. And I agree with you that he's always looking to use his right hand, which is why I think he's been beat so much lately... he certainly does need to mix things up.

As for kicking, personally I think it's something that is missing in the UFC. Look at the Franklin-Hamill fight from Saturday. Franklin used some great inside leg kicks to wear down Hamill and then TKO's him with an awesome kick to the body. Just great. Kicks are effective but most people go for the take down or the big knockout punch... but kicks also get you in trouble quick if not used right... uhum Silva-Irvin smile.gif There are some guys who use the kicks often but I think it is still very underused.

Hey hey hey,

I am really into MMA. UFC, Pride (rip), Dream and Affliction.. anything with MMA of course. Tapout is also fun to watch.
Myself I've trained ninjutsu long time ago, then some karate and Tae Kwondo (green belt). My girlfriend is Judoka but I
push her into MMA. Hopefully she's gonna go to more MMA/BJJ style.

Me and Viktoria are going to Birmingham 18th of Okt to watch UFC 89 Live. (www.ufc.com)

Also I guy from my town named Jani Lax fought in Heroes and we got David Bielkheden and Per Eklund from Sweden fighting in UFC 89. Gonna be cool to watch live for sure. I saw David at a nightclub in Stockholm not long ago.
I didn't stare too much tho' hahahahahaha. He looked dangerous! wink.gif

Favourite fighters are Clay Guida, Alessio Sakar and BJ Penn.

I started Ju-Jitsu at a young age...the age for black belt gradings was 16, but they let me take it at 9 because i was apparently good enough by then, aha.

It was a bit sad to see Liddel gettin knocked out yeah, but i agree he should mix up he's gameplan a bit. The fighter who got me into MMA, was definately Royce Gracie, and the oldschool fighting vids, you know the ones where you have a 220 pound fighter vs a 60 pound figher, and the little dude wins by submission laugh.gif Even though it was pretty unfair, thoose fights got me into it, ive been following it steady since then. Unfortunately the danish figher, Martin Kampmann, got overwhelmed by Nate in this UFC, shame cause i really think he could go far there.
