Here is a live playthrough with the Ibby headless guitars and i am not digging the way it sounds. I'm not sure if it's the player, what the axe is going through in terms of signal, or what. It sounds like there is a bit too much fret buzz (maybe it's the player?) and the tone is a bit, well, yuck?

The tone is certainly very dry throughout the clean parts, and I do hear some break up or perhaps gainstaging not done entirely correctly so it peaks at times? I didn't notice too much buzz, but I wasn't paying attention 100%.

I get that he wants us to hear the pickups as they are and such. I would have liked to hear it with a bit more effects and bits also smile.gif Only a few bits with fret buzz. As you say, it was probably just lack of focus and the new type of neck with the angled frets.

Like everyone I'm very curious about these axes. i do hope they start showing up in music stores pretty soon smile.gif I really wanting to just try one out. Are there music shops around you that may get these in? Im very curious what you think of them as well.
