Why does international mean out of your country? Inter = in, national = country, no?

How is it possible for sour cream to go bad if it's already sour?

I know I have more, I just can't think of them off the top of my head.

What things don't you understand? Can you help with mine?

Hah!

you are thinking of 'intra' as a prefix. 'inter' as a prefix indicates between or among.

Then, there's "in country" which implies militarily in someone else's country. And "in the country" which implies being someplace with livestock nearby. biggrin.gif
