Just wanted to say thank you to those who provide a blanket of protection for there countries citizens. Government poilicy is definitely a matter of opinion but for the soldiers it is a matter of being called to duty. Let's try to keep this thread "clean" for the people who deserve the respect. I have lost freinds in the military and Memorial day always gets me thinking about them and there families so wanted to say thank's to those who are still with us. My observation as a European living in the USA is that the 2 geographies have a very different viewpoint in this area, so I wouldn't expect any sort of agreement here. I would however expect a large argument to develop. Skennington started this thread for honourable reasons, and I imagine that US readers are a little surprised at the reception it got. On the other hand, Europeans are probably surprised that he started it in the first place.
