Something on his personal page and/or in the vids he's posted that the claimants felt was an egregious violation. I've had a few copyrights 'approved by claimant' or whatever they call it on Youtube and the same material then appearing on my FB personal page along with sometimes two 'band/artist' pages ... not too mention then shared by others. This is the exact language ... "Copyrighted content was found in your video. The claimant is allowing their content to be used in your YouTube video. However, ads might appear on it." He probably payed for a video of his as personal advertising and thats how he got the attention. Still, I'd guess they're also monitoring shares that have a high view rate. If they smell blood in the water, they want a piece. If no money is changing hands, they don't seem to mind as much. At least that's been my experience.
