hey guys

i would like to see a David Gilmor lesson if it would be posible. there's a lot of great music in his guitar, and it's not fast fast peaking or things like that, just great music.
i would like to know how is played the second part of Echous from the Pompei album, there is a great solo in there, and it's just a few notes.
i played tha main riff of the song and it's a great exercise too.

Cheers.

Hi Andrei,

Since this is a paying site, for copyright reasons, we can't do exact copies of specific solos, but I agree with all of your points - DG has a great musical style and a lot of subtlety, and an in-the-style-of lesson would be very welcome.

I put together a Gilmourish solo in this thread:

And a couple of poeple have asked me to make a lesson of it for the aspiring instructors board - let me know if you are interested and it might just tip the balance smile.gif
