No hurries, i work 50 hours a week and have a 7 year old..

Ill use a pod x3 tone for the acoustic part, and i already know all the rhythm parts both electric and acoustic... I wanted to record 2 rhythm guitars together for a heavier sound.. so who ever wants to record another rhythm section let me know

If you want to learn the lead that would be cool, doesnt sound too difficult

take your time

I know the distorted rhythm parts and I do have an acoustic but only a crappy headest mic to record it with. You'd probably be best off with an electric with an acousitc sim. I can't sing but i might be able to learn the solo. I'll certainly give it a go. smile.gif

Looks like me and you are doing the rhythm together, ill do the clean parts and the distorted parts we can do together.. then you can do one of the solos, and marc will do the other ones.. Still need someone to do the vocals

I guess we could use guitar pro can make the backing track off of that

Well I have Acoustia Beatcraft so I could get the drums a bit better than GP, and I could do bass with Fruity Loops.

You export the bass track as midi from the GP file then import it into fruity loops. You then put a bass instrument onto the midi track and export it as mp3.

Would that use the bass sound from GP? I don't use GP so I don't know how good it's sounds are but if they are just midi fruity loops sounds better.

Well i still check this forum but it seems me and Outlaw are the only ones, and I don't know what i should be doing. If the band does start again im still willing to go along with it.

Oh guys I'm really sorry. I didn't realize we had our own topic already. I be happy to join your band but I still need to get down recording as I usually just jam with people. I think I'll skip this month to focus on recording. I'm a beginner-intermediate guitarist who likes playing hard rock and metal. I'm best with lead but I will be willing to play rhythm too. I love black sabbath and iron maiden. smile.gif
