Heya guys.
I'm not normally not a big believer of discussing one's favorite music, because everyone's taste tends to be very different. HOWEVER, this band is just so special to me that I think most people here will enjoy it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qz8HSnmhXAk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mmeDiiQFuTg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wvlkNWLGKEM -------------------- I got a completely new $600 bass for $300. What a deal!

Great band, Richie was a great influence on me when in Purple, specially their Live BBC session works. This however is not that good but still excellent to hear.

I think this band is heavily underrated. I mean, come on, how many Renaissance inspired bands do you know?
They even did the Renaissance classic Greensleeves. Dejan Farkas did this as a GMC lesson: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/misc-less...leweves-lesson/ Here's what Blackmore's Night did: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vnm5isS2rHM -------------------- I got a completely new $600 bass for $300. Ritchie just rules, he has always been great, no matter if it was with Deep Purple, Rainbow or now with Blackmore's night.

Ritchie proves that quality is what really matters, quantity comes second. No need to play 100 notes a second. He does play 100 notes a second sometimes, though Totaly agree, speed is not everything. I never got too fond of Blackores Night, I fancy his amp though -------------------- My bands homepage

I love Richie, and I think he's guitar work is just as phenomenal in Blackmore's Night as in Deep Purple. It's just a different style
