Hi! Lately I've been using Dunlop's alu TecPicks and I love them (besides the paint coming off onto the fingers).
I'm interested in doing such picks on my own because nobody's doing that in Poland. Dunlop's aren't customizable (Alu), some companies offer custom plastic, though.
I'm a big fan of Japanese motors and so, the design is based purely on Wankel's rotary engine's block, as shown below. Ideally, it would be a rounded triangular pick with profiled edges and a relief with a hole in the center. If I manage to pull it off, I'd add a rubber around the relief part for additional grip.
I'm sure it will take a few tries to get it right but I like this kind of activities
They are great for developing patience, precision and allow gathering thoughts in my head.
Does anyone have any experience with it? I looked up the topic in Google and a few guides suggest using 3mm alu sheet and a jeweller's saw but Dunlop's picks are thinner than that.
