Well yes it is normal in once sense, because pickups are picking up the sound caused by the speakers. On the other hand, it is not too normal if it is a pronounced noise. One simple solution would be not to play close to your speakers.

Yes it's possible. You should be able to place the speaker of a tiny mp3 player close to your pickups and get it amplified through your amp for example. Which is more or less the same as you describe

Yes it's possible. You should be able to place the speaker of a tiny mp3 player close to your pickups and get it amplified through your amp for example. Which is more or less the same as you describe In addition to this, I have a fellow guitar player that has some model of Dimarzio hot pickup in the bridge. He would then amplify it on the amp, using OD channel, and then do some growling with his mouth close to the pickups.
