Hey there,
I have been using a free reverb for quite a while - called SIR: http://www.knufinke.de/sir/sir1.html It uses "impulse responses" which are basically samples from famous reverbs. The soun quality beats any plugin I have so far. To get this working with your recording software you need to click the link and download the software. You then need to download some Impulse Responses: http://noisevault.com/nv/index.php?option=...y&Itemid=29 You might want to pick some Lexicon, Aleseis or Yamaha Impulse Responses... For those of you who aren't very use to recording be sure to only use barely audible reverb, a common beginner mistake is to drown the whole mix in reverb. Kris PS This is of course legal. |

Had to try it out and it sounded real good! Not really like the JCM800 is claimed but rather more vintage IMHO. I just had to put the Ibanez down and hook up my LP for the right sound. Very sweet! I tried to make a recording but couldn't get that to function (when the window lost focus the sound stopped). Definitly worth a try for anyone with ASIO drivers a soundcard that plugs a guitar in. -------------------- My bands homepage
