Super Newbie.........g Chord, Difficulty w/ pinky control

Hi All,

Until three weeks ago I had never even held a guitar let alone play one. I started lessons and have been practicing hard. I've been doing the basics w/ strumming and scales but I'm having ALOT of difficulty w/ hitting G and anything that requires a stretch w/ the pinky involved. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
