> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Yeaaaaah - PB's first ever REC take and I'm honoured to post in..err.. Poster Boy's take !! biggrin.gif

That's a good one too... good finger shifting and hand co ordination. Just some places where notes didn't quite ring in the legato parts. I know we've talked in a video chat before about hammering on to sound a note vs. using a pull off to sound the notes. You could be using more of a hammer on approach which is a lot harder to get the notes to sound.

All in all, though - strong stuff. Welcome to the REC Zone !

Hey there PB - welcome to the REC zone! smile.gif

I agree with Ben - in general you need to clean up the legato technique a bit, by muting unwanted noises and having an even attack on notes

Focus on practicing these things at a slower tempo so that you may control them, ok?

Awesome! Congrats on your first REC take!! smile.gif

I think that you are on the right track with this lesson. I can notice that some section are not 100% tight, or clean or maybe you don't get a good sound of every note but this will be fixed just with some more days of practice. Keep on practising this one every day and start with some other related lessons.

Cheers mate!
