Thanks man, that makes sense! I figured it'd be minmaj7, as it's the tonic of melodic minor. So, the first progression doesn't have a maj7 in tonic chord, isn't it then a modulation? I mean, if 7th is raised then rootnotes change also, as it was min7/9 before. It's not modulation kjutte, modulation needs a lot more to become modulation, to change root note totally or to change "sex" of root, from minor to major per example. This minmaj7 chord appears only once and has role to color up the root, that's all. -------------------- Youtube
