Yes you can!

Even a Quad you can buy i heard through special order from Dean.

Michael was able to do that, and play left and right handed because he played piano as a child before he played guitar, so he already had control over both hands.

Hes naturally left, but he learned right becuase i think his dad couldnt afford a left handed guitar when he was a kid.

I heard this in an interview, he said something along those lines

God..but what about all that string noise when you are using the Double-guitar with only the fretting hands? is that why he has a thing attached near the nut?

I saw almost the whole movie, last 20 minutes of it were scrambled so i couldn't see it all but what i saw was really funny and actually a very cool movie considering the year when it was made.
