It's good to see a new wiki entry! My only advice is to try to use some headlines and bold texts so you can make it less chaotic. Now it's a lot of text, hard to work with, you understand? Maybe a picture or two also makes it a more nice entry. The inside is nice, just needs some work on the jacket laugh.gif

Hi Jones!

Ok, I just went through your entry and added a few things, here's what and how! cool.gif

1. I added the category to the lesson, that makes it apear under the list of articles of each category, in this case it's guitarists, with this code:

[[Category:guitarists]]

If it was a gear article you just write "Gear" instead of guitarists, etc. You can see the full list of different categories that exist in our wiki clicking on the Categories link at the top right of the wiki main page.

2. I added a thumbnailed picture That's really easy to do, check the following code I added to do so:

[[Image:ritblack.jpg|thumb|400px|Ritchie Blackmore]]

As you can see that code tag has different parts, let's see what they are for smile.gif

"ritblack.jpg" is the name of the file I uploaded to the wiki. You upload the file before or after inserting the code above, by following the "Upload File" link in the toolbox at the bottom of any wiki page.

"thumb" makes the picture float over the text to the right.

"400px" is the size I want the picture to have, in width. Experiment with different pixel sizes till you get the size you need.

"Ritchie Blackmore" is the text I want to be featured bellow the picture.

Easy! smile.gif

3. I added a link to a GMC lesson. This is the code:

[https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guitar/ritchie-blackmore-style/ Ritchie Blackmore Style by Kuba Szafran]

As you can see it contains the url, then a space, then the text you want to appear as a link.

So good luck on your next article, and be sure to ask anything if you are in doubt, you'll see it's really easy once you insert a couple pics & links smile.gif

3. I managed to post the link but didn't know how to incorporate text into the Link, NOW I DO!!!!
biggrin.gif
