Tested, yeah it works Thanks Mertay I am using the software Amazing Slow Downer which has a loop option etc. I figured someone was using that one. How do you like it? I have never tried it myself but the loop function sounds like a nice option. I just found out about the play speed option in YT and hadn't really had a chance to use it much other than to confirm that it works before I started this thread. Yesterday I tried it out on a few songs to see how it sounded and what I found is that the audio quality makes a big difference in the clarity when slowing the song down. Lower quality audio sounds a bit wonky which is to be expected and I think using Windows Media Player may have a bit better quality and clarity when slowing things down overall. How is the quality and clarity using the Amazing Slow Downer? One thing that I noticed with both of the methods that I have mentioned is that tracks that are heavy on the FX can be a bit muddled when slowed down. one thing that helps in this case or in any case really, if you can find them, are isolated instrument tracks like this one. Here are some more isolated guitar tracks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G9UkdarSKAg...k-8&index=3 I wish I knew how to make these myself short of acquiring the masters but I have seen Rick Beato do it in his "What makes this song great" series of videos. |
