Guitars:

Ibanez RG-8570 J-Custom
Ibanez IC400 Iceman
Heavily modded Epiphone SG

Amp:

Marshall MF350 Half-Stack

Recording:

Line6 Guitar-Port

Accessories:

Planet Waves circuit breaker cables
Dimarzio cliplock strap
Various picks, but usually quite heavy. I like the stubbies and big stubbies a lot.

Sometimes I use the guitar-port at band practices and just plug my laptop into the PA, because it saves me having to drag along an oversized cabinet and it sets up quickly and easily.

Now that's cool!! It must allow you to download various plugins too - and use them when rehearsing...?

Yeah. It has loads of amplifiers and cabinets modelled and quite a decent selection of effects.
There are plugins available for download, but you need to buy them from line6 and I'm not sure how much they cost. One of them is "FX Junkie" which comes with lots of strange modlation effects.

A great thing about it is if I'm playing a cover with a band, I can download the guitarist's tone from line6 and have the perfect sound for rehearsals.

It is quite flawed in some ways, because the selection of tones isn't that great, but it does have a kickass Kirk hammet tone biggrin.gif
