Welcome to GMC Abdul ! From your tastes I would imagine that you would like to build some strong right hand picking technique, sweeping and legato ?

Welcome! We're glad to have another metalhead. I like a bit of metal too. Cosmin rocks in Drop A.

Thanks Ben, yeah u were right man! i'm working on that.. will u help me? Sure, at least I will try. Hopefully the other guys will step in with their suggestions if they know of any other good things I've missed For sweeping, I would check out these two.. they cover some basic shapes and use a basic 4/4/ timing so it's nothing too weird to get your head around. https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Gilber...erts_Arpeggios/ https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guit...msteen-lesson4/ For legato, I've done a series called Ben's Land of Legato, you can find them all at my instructor page https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/instructor/Ben-Higgins/ For picking, choose any lick or lesson here that you like. They key is how you appriach practice. This will determine how effective it is. I wrote a post about this the other day: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...st&p=554638 If you apply those principles every time you practice, to every lick.. then you can't fail to get better |
