Glad this tale ended well.
I have a thing about not leaving guitars in the trunk of a vehicle. Not only is it easy to forget the instrument and have it get roasted from the sun or frozen by the cold...either one won't do the guitar any good, but they often get stolen. I have only had two instruments for which I had sole responsibility stolen, both from the trunk of my own car. One I left in the trunk and figured it would be no problem since I had arrived at a restaurant, parked in the lot and no one would have had any way of knowing there was anything in the trunk. Still, I had an uneasy feeling and went back to the car about a half hour later to get my guitar and it was gone! Another time I arrived at a club which I had never played at before. I was playing solo acoustic. I went in for a few minutes to meet the manager and scout the place and then returned to the car to get my instrument...you guessed it...gone! -------------------- Mike
