I don't usually do this, but I came across this yesterday, I had never heard of them, I guess they are were a British band called James, mostly heard in the US on college radio stations. Just a really neat song. Three chords. I recognize the beat, from an very old black rhythm and blues song, "The Lion Sleeps Tonight".
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qGmhLoyZAe0 I came across it, from this cover by another band, who had some popularity in Britain, and again, mostly on college radio in the US. They had a couple of albums with real catchy tunes on them, and I think were a lot of fun to watch. A great drummer who came from a British band called Madness. But anyway, this is a neat song I think. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JBs_gCxRMxM |

'Sit down' was huge hit in the UK back in the early 90s. I can remember James playing at some festival (can't remember which but probably Reading) and pretty much the entire audience sat down and sang along to 'Sit down' when they played it.
Madness were/are a great group - another you might want to check out were 'The Specials' (sometimes 'Specials AKA'). -------------------- Get your music professionally mastered by anl AES registered Mastering Engineer.
