Hey dude, thanks for all the advice, i gotta admit i don't have too much experience with les pauls, but i do love how they sound, how they feel and how they look, so why not? but yeah i need advice for sure from a les paul lover (and owner) I do admire mr jimmy page, he plays i think a 59 or 60 right?, i'm doing for sure a thinner neck, i do like fatties, but i think i need something between my strat (very thin aftermarket neck) and my flying V, that's a fat but no SO fat neck. But im keeping the pickguard  i like how it looks, and i'm going vintage with the look I will go and select the top myself if i can, i would love a matching one! I don't want weight relief, so yeah, i think a light weight mahogany is the way to go, i'm also making a cut away curvy thing for better access, i think the LP from the rush guitar player is like that.
