D'Addario 9-42 is a great pack of strings. I use them for years now and never thought of changing strings. I also thing it's optimal gauge for floating bridges.

I use D'Addario 0.10/0.46 on Ibanez RG2550E, because i prefer to play with hard strings

Hey everyone, I am going to probably order an Ibanez RG2550e sometime tonight, and since so many of you guys use Ibanez guitars I was wondering what kind of strings you guys use on your Ibanez. I really have no experience beyond Fender strings ( I have a strat) so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks Yeah, you'll be fine with 009-042...any brand...D'Addario,DR,GHS,ErnieBall etc -------------------- Youtube
