Hi!
A couple of weeks ago, I bought a new axe (Ibanez ) And now, my other guitar is... standing there. Since the pick-ups suck, I'd like to change them. Can I put an EMG in it? This one for example? And is it hard to put 'em in on your own, without any help from a guitar tech? Thanks everyone! Btw, the 'old' guitar is a Washburn X-10 with humbucker at the bridge (where I'd like the EMG to be) and two single coils... From which I don't find they have to be replaced. -------------------- Music is supposed to break down walls, smash through barriers; and free your mind! |

You might need to know how to do the wiring as sometimes the coding between guitars and pickups differ. Muris posted a good link some time ago to an great pickup manufacturer who had lots of wiring info on his site. Also -if the Washburn has passive pickups then you may need somewhere to stash the battery for the EMG and routing for the cable.
