Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hey Tom!

First of all congratulations on your overall progress. Your take is pleasant to listen, it's musical and does not cointain any distracting, serious mistakes. It's a bit "flat" yet but it will all start to get wider sense of articulation and dynamics once you'll keep playing things like this smile.gif

It's visible that you are highly focus and you bring a lot of attention to keep good timing and precision. I can already say that Gabriel is doing great mentoring job with you and I'm sure he will help you to boost your skills on the side mentoined above. Your bending is almost there - most of the notes are missing like 3-4 cents so it's not a huge distance to perfection. Vibrato and bending techniques are similar - you are not 100% comfortable with it yet but you have a gift of making your take still sound good.

Well done!

Hi Tom, your ongoing progress is great to watch - I remember when you were still bashing basic chords around!

Your timing is specifically strong.. when people start concentrating on lead their timing usually suffers due to concentrating on bending and other things but not with you. This is a good asset.

I notice you're putting in a lot of effort with the bends - this is great. You're mostly accurate there.. just keep it up.

You can afford to pick a bit harder just to keep the overall note velocity higher. It's early days yet but you will get better at that as you get more confident with what you're doing.

Well done!
