Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi GMC

I work this lesson since few weeks.
Ostinato is a new technic for me.
It is a little more difficult than I thought.

Hard to get a correct Tone.

I recorded 2 tracks simultaneously with cubase.
First track : Guitar Rig Preset.
2d track : TH3 Preset.

I exported track in 1 only mono track.

I had a lot of pleasure with this one, but I want to learn other lessons.

Very nice!

Tone is really close, a little bit more low midrange and you would be there (to my ears). It might also be worth testing rolling down the tone and/or volume knob a little to get a similar effect.

There are some subtle misses here and there but nothing you wouldn't nail with some more practicing time.

Your vibrato is often a little shallow and starts a bit to fast, listen to Piotr and you will hear he often lets the note ring for a few milliseconds before giving it a shake.

All in all this is solid, you get an 8 from me!

Very pleasant take. A find nothign to complain besides the top egde of tone being a little to harsh (some kind of nasty attack peaks) and the average feeling of you being very carefull - I mean....you don't look like you mean it smile.gif It sounds like a walk on the line between two skyscrapers. You don't let yourself flow with the song because your hardly focus to not mess anything and it's visible in your performance. This being noticed because it has to affect the grade but keep in mind we do realize why and how this happens. Unforunately nerves are part of playing/performing more precisely and it's a thing to work out as well smile.gif
