Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi Carlos! Good job with your rhythm playing!!

This is a killer take of this Venom style lesson. Except by a small timing issue at 00:52, all the other parts sound good and precise for me. You play it with the right energy, dynamics, and with the dirt required by the style.

You are ready for the next level! Keep on the hard work mate.

Yeah! This sounds great and you are clearly feeling it.

I don't have too much to comment on. If you really want to blow me away then try to push the mix a bit further. Maybe add a limiter to tighten the whole thing and try to emulate Gab's guitar tone a bit further.

Really well done, you get a 9 from me.

Hey there!

You're definitely doing a great job here. Load of energy does fit the need of this track. Tone is descent (aside with personal preferences). There is a tricky moment around 0:52 and seems like you'e lost control over your hands/hands sync for a very short moment. Now from a subjective point of view I'm wondering if the wrist-forearm connection has to be really so tensed. Personally I would redirect the source of strength just to the wrist, making it strum wider. Similar observations for the part around 0:20 - for me it's not necessary to keep the hand so tensed for this alternate picking run on a single string.
