This lesson is very close. You are not still totally comfortable with the different patterns but you just need more time of practice.

I can notice that you have some hand sync issues here and there and that's why some parts of the lesson is not totally precise or sound dirty. This can happen because one of your hands gets tired a bit early. It needs more training.

I see that you are using a "classical" position of your left hand when playing this. It's not wong but I would go for a more rock type position when playing Pentatonic licks. It's just an opinion not a correction.

I agree with Gab's comment about the left hand position, here is how it works for me:

If I play with that classical thumb position - which you use here - for a longer time, I tense up and start playing badly. I only use it when I must (which means for wider stretches especially on the lower strings).

If the same applies for you, it is likely part of the reason why you are having problems executing this one without mistakes.

The timing is good, and with a bit more prominent delay/reverb you would be pretty close to David's tone.

I have to double what guys said about the left hand but I do realize it's not a must. It's just a thing to reconsider. Classical hand position makes sense when we think of classical sitting position as well - it simple makes you able to cover wide stretches even on the low strings. Classical position can have some disadvantage for playing distortion though - rounded fingers don't touch unused strings to mute them. Another disadvantage is you need to hold you guitar really high on your strap. There are players who uses classical position though so probably if you're determined enough you will makes this work as well.
