Just wondering if Kris has any plans to introduce more "Lick of the Day." Maybe he could include licks from the other instructors' videos as another way to introduce us to things we may not have found before.

Would be nice if there were more than 31 licks indeed smile.gif

EDIT: Maybe we should have everyday competitions for the person who comes up with the best lick of the day. The person who gets most wins receives a prize at the end of the month?

I like the idea although I would make it daily prizes + monthly prize for best lick of the month wink.gif

laugh.gif Great so we have agreed then ? laugh.gif

Nothing huge - maybe daily price can be set of strings + pick = something that doesn't extend 20$ but could be very valuable to guitar player.
I am thinking pick strings and guitar strap ?
What are you thinking ? smile.gif

A few months back was a "Lick of the day" competition, which was a good idea with some interesting entries. Something like this could be repeated maybe.

We have been planning new "lick of the day":s with other instructors and genres for quite a while - we aren't there yet though...

However we could quite easily create a members lick of the day using the SI board and the wiki! smile.gif (the advantage with that is that we can get it whenever there are licks ready)

Both ideas seem great to me, and I think SI lick of the day section is very cool indeed! smile.gif

Sounds good to me!

I really think prizes should be included. It's gonna cost the boss some money, but it would make GMC a more outstanding community and personally I don't mind if you bill me for an extra dollar if money is an issue smile.gif

I would certainly like to step in and organizing this (I would like to become more active anyways, so why not something like this). I must however say that I have very limited Wiki knowledge at the moment, so this would need probably some discussions with the seniors (but am sure will be fine).

Also it can be slide, maybe even capo and "thing" for string changing, and guitar\string\fretboard cleaners\polishers from Jim Dunlop ( they`re like 5$)
Hope that helps smile.gif
