Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

It looks like you master all sections but you need to add that final bit of confidence where you could basically play this in your sleep - and not sound like you are chasing the backing. My recommendation would be to give this some practice time and a tempo that is way below your comfort speed for a few days. When doing so think about: * Your left hand, is it as relaxed as it could be? * Your right hand: are movements consistent? See how Diego generates much of his movements from the arm and very little from the wrist. You should try to do the same for tone and tightness. When you return to the original tempo, you might just find that it starts to flow naturally for you. Keep up the great work - you get a 7 from me! This is a good first step with this lesson, now you need to work on details in order to get the most from this one. Diego plays this with extreme precision so he gets a clean, dynamic and very groove (and tight) take. You are playing the chords, the riffs, but you need to go tighter with the backing, and put more focus on your right hand muting and strengh. That's the next step! Keep on the good job. Too gentle. If you take a close look at Diego's hand, you'll notice he does very fast and strong strums. It affects the tone a lot, and it would be great to see you boosting your strumming strength to get just the right tone as well. You need to recheck your palm muting. Diego's has a very clear contrats between plam muted and open notes. Your right palm doesn't look very consistent. You probably need to find a better resting point and make clear "to the strings" and "away from strings" moves. MAke experiments to squeeze more percussive flavour out of your palm muting and more of full range on your open chords. You are at GuitarMasterClass.net Don't miss today's free lick.
