The tip from my head phone jack broke off in my M Audio Fast Track pro head phone socket.
The interface still works but I obviously can't use it with headphones, anyone got inspired ideas on how to get it out. I opened the box and found the socket is a closed component so can't get to the tip from the outside. -------------------- My SoundCloud

Using some needle pliers? A Straw? A Stick wit some glue on the tip?

I tried a drill bit, similar to your thread cutter idea, and I've tried super glue on the end of a bolt, it's just knowing what I've got to work with at the broken end to attach to
