Yup! And BAM they get wads of spiff gear which they may end up rebranding. Time will tell smile.gif I'm curious how this will roll out. Presonus has come a long way in a short time. I am looking forward to see what sort of integrations start happening.

To be honest, being a huge fan of Presonus products, I really don't enjoy the announcement of this blend.

As Todd said "Presonus has come a long way in a short time". Their products always had an amazing good quality. Even the most cheap ones doesn't look, sound or feel cheap. smile.gif
Also, from my point of view, one of the most killer thing about this brand was the fact that their pricing policy was absolutely super fair. Hope this thing will not change in future...but...who knows.

Fender has always done right by the brands they acquire.
Jackson and Charvel have been resurrected from the dead. Gretsch quality has improved and the EVH line hasn't really changed at all.

*Gibson is the company that bought a bunch of small companies, ran those companies into the ground, and then went bankrupt and had to "re-structure".

I used to have a Presonus audio interface that I was very happy with before I went to a bigger Focusrite (and now Steinberg). If they continue to develop the Presonus products in a positive direction through Fender then I think all is good.

I use a pair of PRESONUS ERIS monitors as my second mix position and I love em. They are very small. Only about $100 per pair but sound very flat and work well to check mixes. It's a great brand IMHO. I had one of their mixing consoles which was a great unit. It was firewire connected so I had to get rid of it when apple stopped supporting firewire.

I think Fender saw the future and did a good move, like even beginners started to not buy practice amps anymore and if they do they often get a digital one.

As a DAW studio One is really good from what I heard from friends and Fender can also prioritize guitar for their hardware products too (like better impedance for direct in, lower latency etc. ).

I've always liked Fender products including their strings, I assume it will be the better for Presonus and us.
